The company has been involved in the manufacture of high quality cold heading wire and wire drawing since 1947 and remains today a privately owned company. Annealing facilities have been continually extended during the past ten years by installation of high convection atmosphere controlled bell-type furnaces. The latest addition being fully commissioned in February 2004. The company today is a vibrant modern wire plant capable of producing round cross-sectional cold heading wire from 2.5mm to 25.00mm size range in Ultra Low to Medium Carbon Boron or Alloy material grades. Mechanical descaling equipment provides an integral link to wire drawing and is used whenever possible in a place or traditional chemical clean in order to provide phosphate-coating lubrication for the Cold Heading and Fastener industries. Quality and it's improvement is integral to both the Company and production methods, and it forms part of the G John Power Ltd ethos to achieve continual improvement thereby assuring our customers of a fully focused service.
